What Happens at GATE?
GATE will provide you with accurate, factual information, support, and services to help you make informed decisions about your future.
Facing an unexpected pregnancy can seem overwhelming. You are probably experiencing many different emotions. At GATE, we have a committed team of staff and volunteers who want to help you sort through all those emotions.
GATE provides a place where you can come together with other young women in their teens and 20's and share your unique experiences.
Based on needs you, and other young women, are experiencing, GATE provides a variety of discussion formats. We learn and discover how to C.H.A.T. (Create Healthy Attitudes Together)
GATE wants to be a part of your journey and to provide caring and confidential support for you and your family. Another way we do that is by providing speakers and resources on such topics as:
- Taking Control of Your Life
- Relationship Skills
- Childbirth Class
- Establishing Your Future
- Faith Studies
GATE does not provide nor refer for abortions. We will, however, provide you with accurate, factual information based upon your request so you can make an informed decision for your future.
All clients seen at GATE PRC are promised confidentiality, this applies to all those who come in for a pregnancy test, peer counseling, material assistance, parenting classes, and Bible study.
GATE provides abortion alternatives, and information on adoption services. Our Center services Cabarrus County, Harrisburg, Concord, Kannapolis, Mount Pleasant, Midland, Locust, and the University area in North Carolina.
